Introduction
CCB (Central Counselling Board) constituted by the Govt. Of India conducts ALL INDIA ENGINEERING ENTRANCE EXAMINATION (AIEEE) every year for selecting eligible students for admission in approximately twenty seven thousand and five hundred seats for B.Tech/B.E and one thousand seats (approx.) for B. Arch/B. Planning. AIEEE is one window step to get admission in technical colleges of India. It takes care of admission and help in maintenance of higher education standard. AIEEE also solves the problem of overlap entrance exams conducted by different colleges individually.
Combined Counseling Board has list of participating colleges of India which are leading institutions of different location and help the students in selecting colleges. To get into the above colleges, a student needs to have specific score in AIEEE but it is a lesser known fact that any students who has any positive score in AIEEE is eligible to get admission in some or other colleges of some states, as most of the colleges managed by educational societies/trust have a fixed number of seats for AIEEE rank holders. The criteria of selection may vary from state to state and college to college. Many students are not updated and lack the knowledge of leading colleges in India, their admission criteria, placement opportunities and importance of location. And this way they spoil one year of their career.
